Great app, before the bug

I installed the update for myHomework this morning, and before that, I was extremely happy with it. I entered all of my homework/lessons in and it worked great. However, since then, I’ve had two things go wrong. There’s a large banner to update the app (I already did?) and constant reminders for assignments weeks ahead (every time I would open/close an app in particular). I had to turn off notifications, which is slightly inconvenient but I can use my phone for important reminders. As for the update banner, I can’t seem to close out of it and it’s blocking my view of calendar and annoucements.
I love this app - I just hope the bugs can be fixed soon :)
