best digital planner; Update caused problems

The update 1.2.0 came with some lovely “features” such as being constantly told that you have a large number of notifications, and not being able to get rid of that gosh darn update banner.

The update banner did go away after a few re-starts. However, I’ve had to disable notifications for the time being. Please fix this!

This is really a wonderful app for students, I hope they get this fixed quickly!
